Jornada 430/430se Enhanced Driver for HP Jornada 430/430se Palm-size Type: Driver If you are using Simple Technology CF card or IBM microdrive with the Jornada 430/430se, this enhanced driver will resolve card detection problems. Eg: a message prompting to format the card when Simple Technology CF card is inserted or there is no response when the IBM microdrive is plugged in. If you encounter the above issues, do not format the card or the drive. Install the driver following the instruction steps given below. To install: 1. Download the 430CFDRV.EXE to a temporary directory in your desktop PC. 2. Double-click on the file430CFDRV.EXE to run the WINZIP self-extractor to obtain the enhanced driver PCMCIA.DLL and README.TXT. 3. Read the README.TXT for installation information on how to install the PCMCIA.DLL to the Jornada 430/430se. Note: You will need to re-install it again if a hard reset is performed on the device.
