The deskjet 995CK is available in N.A. and ships with the firmware already updated. Note: This firmware update gives your printer the ability to communicate with a PC by the HCRP profile, and with handheld devices such a phone or pda. For compatibility information, please see hp's support website at http://www.hp.com/support/bluetooth. Before you update the firmware you will need: USB cable. USB driver installed Windows 98 or higher Installation Instructions Step 1: If you have not already done so, install the USB driver from the CD that came with your printer. Be sure to leave the USB cable attached . Step 2: Download the latest HP Deskjet 995c firmware Download the HP Deskjet 995c firmware update and save it to your computer. After saving the file, record the filename and location . Step 3: Update the HP Deskjet 995c firmware To update (or reflash) your firmware, do the following: Locate the HP Deskjet 995c firmware update on your computer (saved in step 6 above). Double-click the HP Deskjet 995c firmware update file. Run the firmware update from your hard drive only. The HP Deskjet 995c firmware update program will not run from a CD-ROM.
