iPAQ Voice Messenger - SMS Messaging Enhancement to Fix the SMS not Received and SMS Application Freezing Issues for HP iPAQ Voice Messenger Type: Software This softpaq fixes the following two Short Messaging Service (SMS) issues with the iPAQ Voice Messenger: Some SMS messages are not received after turning on a powered-off iPAQ device and reconnecting to the Vodafone UK network. The SMS application freezes while sending an SMS message with no network signal or coverage on the phone. This release allows the update to be performed on the HP iPAQ Voice Messenger. The package contains the SMS messaging enhancement only for products supporting the following SKU IDs or Product IDs: FB142AA#AK6, FB142AA#ABD, FB142AA#ABE, FB142AA#ABF, FB142AA#AK9, FB142AA#ABH, FB142AT#AK6, FB142AT#ABD, FB142AT#ABE, FB142AT#ABF, FB142AT#AK9, FB142AT#ABH, FB142AA#ABG, FB142AA#ARE, FB142AA#UUF, and FB201AA#ACB. To find the SKU ID or Product ID on the iPAQ device, press Start > Settings > System > HP Asset Viewer > System.
